The white tie is a formal event where you have to maintain a specific dress code. The white tie is the dress code that the male members have to follow. The collar of these white tie shirts need to have winged ends. These are again made of cotton pique and are stiff to touch. The collar must fit the shirt to a T. If you wish you may also wear the detachable collars for your own convenience.

The bow ties that are worn with the white shirts are to be so adjusted that the ends of the collar sit snugly behind them. The shirt front should have studs to fasten it. These studs have specific colors. They are usually black or white in color but nothing could rival diamond studs surely. Make sure that the cuff links match the shirt studs well.
